Key Responsibilities Key responsibilities and day to day responsibilities of this position: DVOP Employment Counselors deliver a broad range of services to assist Veterans and help them to be competitive in
the labor market. Services typically include:
support for employment and training opportunities, including apprenticeship and on-the-job training.
monitoring and evaluating employment plans activities and progress.
customers in meeting their goals.
the application for temporary assistance programs (Food Stamps, Financial, Medicaid, Child Care, and
Unemployment Insurance).
