Senior Platform Engineer

We’re a diverse team coming from 40+ countries with offices in Denmark, the U.S., and Australia.</p><h4><strong>About the role:</strong></h4><p>Queue-it is looking for an experienced Cloud Engineer with a proven track record in cloud-native platform engineering.</p><p>In this role, you will build and manage our cloud platforms to ensure the resilience and scalability of our SaaS products. A key focus will be developing cloud-native platforms with a strong emphasis on Kubernetes, combined with solid operational and DevOps practices.</p><p>Additionally, you'll be responsible for ensuring that observability and monitoring are robustly implemented to support smooth Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) operations.</p><h4><strong>Professional Experience:</strong></h4><ul> <li>Extensive experience in cloud architecture and cloud-native solutions</li> <li>Proven track record in designing and implementing Kubernetes solutions</li> </ul><h4><strong>Technical Skills:</strong> </h4><ul> <li>Strong Proficiency in Kubernetes and related tools such as Helm (and Operators)</li> <li>Experience with public cloud platforms, AWS and Akamai/Linode Cloud is a plus</li> <li>Experience with IaaC and tools like Terraform and AnsibleAble to build CI/CD pipelines for Kubernetes based workloads, as well as GitOps such as ArgoCD</li> <li>Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus and GrafanaProfiency with Messaging Queues and Streaming would be a plus<strong><br/></strong></li> </ul><h4><strong>Soft Skills:</strong></h4><ul> <li>Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues</li> <li>Excellent communication and collaboration skills</li> <li>Focus on clear and concise documentation of implementations and process </li> </ul><h4><strong>Certifications:</strong></h4><ul> <li>Relevant certifications in cloud platforms and Kubernetes are a plus.</li> </ul><h4><strong>Why you'll love working with Queue-it:</strong></h4><ul> <li><strong>Continuous learning</strong>.
