Job Description Qualifications:

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for an Experienced Quality Production Specialist (Level 3) to join the Materials Review Board Designee (MRBD) team based out of Renton or Seattle, Washington.

The MRBD will support our Renton airplane programs by reviewing non-conformance records and generating non-conformance orders. In this role, one will be expected to collaborate and communicate with internal and external stakeholders, track, respond, and communicate to support the program.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Review and validate product non-conformance (NCR/EPD) and disposition type, quality procedures and engineering requirements.
  • Perform analysis to identify and evaluate the quality of products, operations and processes to Quality Management System requirements, applicable company procedures, contract requirements or government regulations.
  • Apply knowledge of aerospace design, systems and integration to perform analysis of aerospace components and systems. 
  • Mentor fellow employees and leaders in the Quality Management System on the non-conformance to identify proper rework instructions.
  • Independently develop, modify and document NCO’s
  • Negotiate concurrence, obtain commitments for taking preventive and corrective action, prioritize quality activities and ensure problem resolution.
  • Review and approve disposition of non-conformance hardware products/processes.
  • Guide validation of configuration management, quality procedures and material review policies to deliver the products.
  • Create analytical reports and coordinates with the responsible parties for internal/external distribution. 
  • Work under general direction.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.  

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience with REDARS.
  • 3+ years of experience with MRB and systems that support NCM, OWI, and CMES.
  • 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • 3+ years of experience with Quality and/or Manufacturing processes and organization.
  • Willing to work variable shifts, including weekends and overtime.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 2+ years of experience with systematic problem-solving skills.
  • 2+ years of experience performing Quality MRB.

Typical Education/Experience: 
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor+1 years' related work experience, 5 years' related work experience, etc.).
