Your team

You'll be working in the Employment Legal - Americas team and be located in Nashville. We're responsible for all employment legal issues across all Americas locations and we support all of the UBS Business Divisions. So, you can be working on something for the Investment Bank in New York in the morning and for Wealth Management in Brazil in the afternoon. You'll work within a regional team of lawyers (located in Nashville, New York, Stamford and Weehawken) and be part of a global team (located in Zurich, London and Hong Kong).

Your expertise

• ideally at least 3 years' experience managing litigation in government, private practice or in-house with some exposure to employment law
• a law degree and are admitted to practice law in the U.S. (or ability to obtain admission)
• exposure to FINRA or other arbitration forums
• experience working with senior stakeholders on sensitive matters
• excellent technical skills, sound critical thinking, problem-solving and negotiating skills, with the ability to apply those skills to a wide range of HR, employment, regulatory, tax and other issues
• self-motivation and capability of delivering solution-oriented, firm but fair, pragmatic and risk-based advice
