Senior Associate, PHP Developer

Job Description

• Participate in the design of new application features
• Develop and deploy new features and projects
• Solve complex problems both technical and conceptual
• Adhere to ongoing development plans and deadlines
• Actively research current trends, techniques, technologies and best practices
• Participate in team meetings and offer recommendations/ideas on projects 
• Assist in the maintenance of infrastructure and security

Qualifications

Required Skills

• +5 years’ experience with PHP, SQL
• +3 years’ experience with MVC frameworks, Javascript, JQuery
• +2 years’ experience with Laravel
• +2 years’ experience with Infrastructure and System Administration 

Preferred Skills

• Creating and maintaining EC2s
• Containers and container orchestration (e.g. Docker)
• RDS maintenance and troubleshoot
• Cloud-based services (e.g. AWS)
• CI/CD Pipelines (Jenkins)
• Logging, Monitoring, and Alerting tools (Splunk)
• Shell Scripting experience
• Experience solving problems and resolving outages in a production environment
• AWS Certification desirable
• Programming experience with emphasis on Security
• Experience working with and developing REST APIs
