Join our Engineering team as a Senior Scrum Master for the development of our enterprise-grade, multi-national expense reporting and invoice management system. In this role you will be responsible for coordinating and tracking the activities of several teams on a daily basis. This role requires someone with a keen eye for detail, excellent communication and an enthusiasm for process improvement as the business grows. This role also includes some project or initiative-specific coordination and documentation.
You will need to have a technical background and understanding of the agile software development lifecycle. You will need excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with many roles in an engineering team, management and other departments. Our ideal candidate would be a positive and motivated individual who is focused and extremely organized.

What You'll Do

• Agile and project management coaching for other scrum masters.
• Facilitate scrum process and release management process improvement
• Day-to-day management of JIRA and related workflow
• Coordinate and attend daily stand-up meetings
• Serve as Scrum Master on multiple development teams, including coordinating estimations, sprint planning and retros
• Detect impediments and work to remove them
• Escalate any issues that need management attention 
• Facilitate coordination across teams to eliminate blocking issues, identify common issues
• Assist in the promotion and coordination of releases and deployments
• Recommend and promote process improvements and facilitate their implementation
• Be an active member of the Engineering Team Management

• Experience with SCRUM and Agile in general
• Solid understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Able to work well in an open, team environment
• An assertive and positive person that can keep engineers focused and on task
• Someone with extremely good communication skills
• Should be committed to continuous improvement in the engineering process
• Excellent communication skills and ability to explain and understand complex concepts

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with software metrics
• Reporting skills, especially from Jira
• Modern development practices applicable to enterprise software
• Familiarity with technical debt burndown techniques are a plus
• Advanced administration of Jira Cloud
