The Role at a Glance
We are excited to bring on a Senior Consultant on the Group Product Implementation team supporting the Absence, Statutory Disability, Paid Family Medical Leave, Accommodation Services, Life, and Disability products.
Background Details
• As a Senior Consultant on the Group Product Implementation Team, you will serve as the project lead, overseeing the development and design process for new or updated products and service offerings.
• You will collaborate with members of our agile teams to ensure successful implementation across all systems / platforms.
What you'll be doing
Product Development
- Create and oversee project plan/timeline and identify internal and/or external stakeholders to engage in development and design work, ensuring engagement & completion of all project tasks, including:
- Market Research
- Opportunity Assessment, Business Case, and CBA development
- Vendor Identification, Review, & Onboarding (if applicable)
- Development of offering concept & design
- Policy Drafting, Rate Development, & Filing
- Provide regular updates to cross-functional stakeholders
Product Implementation
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts with internal and/or external stakeholders to ensure engagement & completion of:
- Product specifications and quoting requirements for systems implementations
- Go-to-Market strategy
- Product / Program Development Artifacts
- Operations & claims process impacts
- Provide knowledge transfer for initiatives and work closely with our Business Org Readiness team to ensure effective implementation of go-to-market strategies.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts with internal stakeholders to establish, document, and implement manual processes to support new or enhanced offerings / services as needed.
What we’re looking for
Must-haves:
- 5 – 7+ Years’ experience in product management, product development, and/or project management directly aligned to the specific responsibilities of this position.
- Product Knowledge (Absence, Statutory Disability, Paid Family Medical Leave, Accommodation Services, Life, and Disability)
- 4 Year/bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's)
Nice-to-haves:
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret both internal and external documents such as general media/publications, professional journals, technical procedures, governmental regulations, policies, proposals, and standard operating procedures.
- Confident, comfortable communicator with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrates ability to communicate knowledgeably and credibly with internal/external senior management.
- Ability to analyze complex information and to evaluate the implications of a course of action or solution.
- Ability to lead cross functional teams.
