About the role

We are seeking a motivated Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) Developer to join our team. In this role, you will assist in developing and implementing integration solutions using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) to connect various applications and services. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of OIC development and demonstrate an eagerness to grow their expertise in the field.

  • Contribute to designing and developing integration solutions using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), ensuring seamless connections between cloud and on-premise systems by following senior developer lead.
  • Assist in gathering business requirements and collaborate with cross-functional teams to design effective technical solutions.
  • Actively seek opportunities to learn new tools and technologies, applying them to improve integration solutions.
  • Participate in testing and troubleshooting integration flows, ensuring they meet requirements and resolve issues effectively.
  • Monitor and optimize integration performance, providing ongoing support and identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Contribute to clear and accurate documentation, including technical specifications, deployment processes, and troubleshooting guides.
  • Work with internal teams and external vendors, bringing fresh perspectives while learning from others.
  •  Stay updated with new Oracle Integration Cloud features and best practices, participating in self-learning and team training opportunities.
  • Basic understanding of Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), its functionalities, and best practices.
  • Basic understanding of integration components like Adapters, Integration Flows, Connections, and Orchestration.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based integration solutions
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with a focus on identifying issues in complex integration processes, debugging integration flows, and resolving performance bottlenecks.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with cross-functional teams, business stakeholders, and external vendors. Ability to present technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Eagerness to stay updated with the latest cloud technologies, integration tools, and Oracle updates. Continuously seeks opportunities for self-improvement and skill development.

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or related field is required.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Five (5) years of relevant experience; or equivalent education with eight (8) years of related experience is required 
  • At least 1+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) or other integration platforms is strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of cloud-based integration concepts and familiarity with tools such as Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) or Oracle Fusion Cloud is a plus.

Benefits Overview

Dental - Three dental insurance plan options are available for employees and their families through Delta Dental Insurance Company, two PPOs and one dental HMO plan. Both PPO plans allow employees to choose any licensed dentist. 
Vision - Fully insured Vision Care benefits are offered by Superior Vision Services. Two vision plan options that offer either standard or enhanced vision benefits.
Disability - Employees can enroll in the Disability Insurance which provides income if a non-work related illness or injury prevents you from working.
FSAs - Employees can enroll in flexible spending accounts (FSAs) to set aside money from earnings before taxes for qualifying dependent day care expenses or out-of-pocket health care expenses. 
Retirement - Employees are eligible for either the Teacher Retirement System (TRS) or the Optional Retirement Plan (ORP). TRS is a defined benefit retirement plan which UT Health matches employee contributions. ORP is for eligible facu
