Job Summary
Educational Field Experiences is seeking a part-time, non-tenure track Clinical Instructor to supervise elementary and special education teacher interns. The
Student Teaching Supervisor will supervise student teaching interns in
their placement schools and will supervise and access the interns’ work
that is submitted onto Tk20, the electronic data collection system
utilized by Educational Field Experiences. Each semester, student
teaching interns (18-22) will be supervised.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
A Master's degree in Education or at least 18 hours of elementary or special education classes at the graduate level.
Three years of classroom teaching experience or five years working with college-level students in teacher preparation courses.
A reliable computer with access to a high-speed internet connection.
Dependable transportation and be willing to travel to school-based internship sites.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Ten years of classroom teaching experience or combined 10 years of teaching and school administration experience.
Eighteen graduate credit hours in both elementary education and special education coursework.
Prior experience supervising/teaching undergraduate elementary or special education students.
