This is not a remote position and will require to be onsite at Wilton, CT

Role and responsibilities

You act as the right hand of the director to help unlock critical data and information, drive analyses and insights, set up reporting and dashboards, and drive continuous improvement. Typical areas for investigation are:

  • Capacity modeling: you build models and analyze scenarios to determine resource bottlenecks in the factory (people, tooling, floorspace, supply).

  • Performance Management & KPI’s: you drive continuous improvement efforts that enable management to secure targets related to yield, cycle time, and labor hours while influencing behaviors/decisions at several levels of the organization.

  • Data analytics: you build reports & data visualizations to make the performance of factory processes transparent, translating data into information.

  • In this position you will be able to further develop your analytical skills, business perspective, influencing skills, presenting techniques and project management capabilities.

  • You serve as a mentor to less experienced team members.

  • There is always space for creative and unique points of view. You will have the flexibility and trust to choose how best to tackle tasks and solve problems.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree required. Preferred degree in Industrial Engineering. MBA or exposure to business, finance or economics is advantageous.

  • 4+ years of working experience with strong analytics and reporting specifically with Business Analytics

  • Experience with Finance strongly preferred.

  • Experienced with Performance Management.

  • Experienced with IT-systems in the area of production-control: Spotfire, Tableau, Power BI preferred - (Excel, SAP, SAP ME/ BO, SAP HANA).

  • Current or previous experience in a manufacturing, production or semi-conductor industry is a plus.
