Position: Senior Software Engineer

Duties: Develops software systems and solves complex problems by leveraging state-of-the-art technology. Collaborates with and executes major cross-platform executions as a team, or independently when needed. Document knowledge and processes specific to work. Utilizes strong interpersonal skills in working with numerous internal teams and expand personal and team knowledge of new and upcoming products. Contributes to all phases of the development life cycle and write well-designed, testable, efficient code. Participates in medium- to large-scale, complex, cross-functional projects by reviewing project requirements; translating requirements into technical solutions; gathering requested information (for example, design documents, product requirement); writing and developing code; conducting unit testing; communicating status and issues to team members and stakeholders; collaborating with cross functional teams; troubleshooting open issues and bug-fixes; enhancing design to prevent re-occurrences of defects; ensuring on-time delivery. Participates in the discovery phase of medium to large projects to come up with high level design by partnering with the technical lead, product management, business and cross-functional teams; help obtaining cross-function approvals; driving proof-of-concept; and implementing prototypes to validate ideas. Monitors the health of web pages, work cross-functionally with partner teams such as Site Ops, Network, Storage, Systems, Monitoring & Application team. Sets high standards for operational excellence and system observability.

Minimum education and experience required: Master’s degree or the equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering (any) or related field and 2 years of experience in large scale enterprise software development environment; OR Bachelor's degree or the equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering (any) or related field and 5 years of experience in large scale enterprise software development environment.

Skills required: Experience designing and implementing REST API using Spring boot frameworks and Java as programming language. Experience designing and implementing web-services using C3 and .Net frameworks. Experience using Object oriented design and coding in Java while designing and implementing Java software. Experience with Unit and Integration testing using Junit and TestNG framework. Experience integrating with Relational Database Management Systems for Java systems to store data. Experience supporting production related issues and implementing bug fixes for defect in production environment. Experience building the CI/CD pipeline to continuously integrate and deploy software with new features. Experience using Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) to add iterative software features to a product. Experience performing code reviews when a pull request is created. Experience implementing test driven development strategies when writing software features and implementing test scenarios. Salary Range: $174,518/year to $234,000/year. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives.  Additional compensation for certain positions may also include: Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location) and Stock equity incentives.
