Opportunity at a Glance


The Director of Treasury is primarily responsible for managing the treasury, banking, and insurance risk management activities of the organization including direct responsibility for the organization's revolving credit facility, debt compliance, cash forecasting, global cash and treasury management and ensuring compliance with treasury policies. The Director of Treasury also supervises global daily cash management activities, including oversight and upkeep of global cash management and reporting systems. The Director of Treasury is also responsible for strategic cash and investment projects to improve banking and cash management structures throughout the organization. In addition, the Director of Treasury is responsible for implementing strategic initiatives approved by the CFO and the Board related to capital structure, capital allocation and liquidity.

Responsibilities

  • Manages and addresses relationships with banks in the organization's revolving credit facility and other debt agreements, including management of banking partners’ business opportunities outside the credit facility, management of the revolving credit facility drawdown, repayment and term and strategic utilization of capital in order to minimize interest expense while still funding acquisitions, capital expansion and daily cash needs.
  • Establishes and maintains a rolling daily, weekly, monthly and annual cash forecast based on the corporate strategic plan supplemented by historical funds flow information and regulatory framework.
  • Oversees the organization’s global cash position including funds in banks within the US and internationally. Assists in developing plans for international cash repatriation, investments and capital requirements, including maintenance of intercompany loan positions, direct revolver utilization and alternative capital sources.
  • Ensures that the investment portfolio is structured in compliance with the organization’s Investment Policy.
  • Manages the organization's cash management activities including: communicating the daily cash position, establishing and managing bank accounts globally, and managing all banking and treasury activities through the Kyriba treasury management system or otherwise.
  • Direct responsibility for updating and maintaining the Kyriba treasury management system to ensure the most up-to-date, efficient tools are utilized.
  • Responsible for the global cash and subsidiary by subsidiary cash forecast on a short-term basis (within 26 weeks) and works with the Financial Planning and Analysis team to reconcile the longer-term cash forecast in line with the organization’s strategic plan.
  • Develops and monitors internal controls surrounding cash, investments and other treasury-related controls.
  • Ensures standardization of processes for banking and treasury activities are SOX compliant including credit and custody agreements.
  • Strives to enforce adherence of requirements for internal control measures /regulations for the banking and treasury function.
  • Ascertain and appraise corporate and operational risks, which can be mitigated with insurance, and make recommendations regarding insurance, self-insurance and avoidance strategies.
