Job Summary
Responsibilities
Supports projects and carries out activities to advance goals and objectives.
Performs literature reviews and summarizes findings.
Supports recruitment, screening for eligibility, and consenting of participants.
Supports data collection, data entry, and data cleaning.
Helps prepare abstracts, reports, presentations, and papers.
Works independently and within teams, including both in the University and with partners.
Maintains and helps foster relationships with collaborative community and research partners.
Prepares for or participate in quality assurance audits under supervision or following specific protocol procedures.
Participates in study-related documentation, such as protocol worksheets, procedural manuals, adverse event reports, institutional review board documents, or progress reports.
Performs all tasks in basic clinical studies.
Assists with and performs various administrative and operational tasks as assigned under direct supervision.
Performs other related work as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
Education:
Minimum requirements include vocational training, apprenticeships or the equivalent experience in related field (not typically required to have a four-year degree).---

Preferred Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor's degree.
Experience:
Relevant research experience, particularly health services and/or community oriented.
Technical Skills or Knowledge:
Demonstrated computer literacy and computing skills sufficient for effective use of diverse managerial and administrative computer applications, technical writing, word processing, spreadsheets, and databases.
Experience using Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Powerpoint.
Preferred experience using database software (e.g. REDCap), quantitative data analysis software (e.g. SAS, STATA, R), and/or qualitative data analysis software (e.g. Dedoose, NViVo, ATLAS.ti).
