  • 2 years of supervisory experience 
  • LTL industry experience  
  • Positive attitude with the ability to multitask and motivate your team 
  • Exceptional leadership, communication and administrative skills

What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • Communicates the vision for and leads project/performance improvement and quality within the Region ensuring key stakeholders are bought in and aligned.
  • Partners with Region leadership teams to improve the execution of key quantifiable objectives, such as touches per charged damage, percent delivered damage, on-time service, and damage frequency as well as other metrics relevant to the initiative or project.
  • Acts in an advisory role to all service centers, staff, and leaders in the assigned Region.
  • Coaches staff and leaders across a variety of roles responsible for achieving performance improvement and building improvement capability.
  • Facilitates process improvement activities within the Region and mentors/coaches staff on process improvement principles.
  • Implements, oversees, and continuously improves systems, processes, and standard work to drive the successful management of the network.
  • May assist the Sr. Director, Operations with technical, professional, business, budget and process decisions and ensures in the assigned Region that all decisions are accomplished according to schedule, scope, quality, and budget guidelines.

 

Senior Manager, Quality  are required to:

  • Demonstrated knowledge of supply chain management techniques and processes.
  • Demonstrated experience in process improvement methodology, analytics, change management/organizational development, program development and planning, project management.
  • Demonstrated business knowledge (business functions, processes, procedures, goals, objectives, measures, metrics, internal self-assessment processes, etc.).
  • Experience in supply chain or transportation.
  • Less-than-Truckload (LTL) experience, preferably in a leadership role.
  • Availability to travel up to 50% of the time.
  • Lift objects of various shapes, sizes and weights to 50 lbs. frequently and greater than 75 lbs. occasionally
  • Reach (including above your head), bend, climb, push, pull, twist
