Summary:  The Senior Accountant - SEC Financial Reporting role is  responsible for timely and accurate financial reporting for our $2 billion+ portfolio of some of the most revered brands in golf, including Titleist and FootJoy, and creates value for the business through seamless execution of controlling activities and technical and process expertise. We are seeking a senior accountant to join the growing Financial Reporting team. The ideal candidate is an energetic and proactive individual who is well-organized, team-oriented and willing to take on new challenges. This role will perform the planning, preparation and issuance of quarterly and annual financial reporting on an US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) basis in accordance with the SEC regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure accurate and timely compilation of accounting information, analysis and reporting in accordance with US GAAP.
  • Support the Company's external financial reporting process including Form 10-K and 10-Q.
  • Collaborate with the team to complete US GAAP and IFRS technical accounting and related disclosures such as segments, pension, derivative and equity, including the preparation of monthly and quarterly journal entries.
  • Perform the review of statutory financial statements and reporting.
  • Complete and maintain process documentation to ensure Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance for areas of responsibility and assist with annual audit.
  • Assist on special projects as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science and Master's in Accounting or CPA or equivalent is required.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in public accounting and/or SEC reporting Industry experience with a publicly traded multinational consumer products company is preferred Strong enthusiasm for technology, innovation and a fast-paced business environment Enthusiasm and passion for athletics, golf, and the Titleist and/or FootJoy brand.
