Ahgassi Server

The right candidate will be passionate about food and service and thoroughly enjoy creating excellent experiences for our customers. The ideal server will have a friendly, outgoing disposition and previous experience working as a Server in a fast-paced restaurant setting.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Greet customers, present menus, and walk customers through menu
• Grill prime quality meats to customer satisfaction
• Salesmanship and upselling key food items to customers
• Relay food and beverage orders in the POS
• Carry trays of food or drinks from the kitchen to the dining tables
• Set up dining areas, refill condiments, and stock service areas
• Collect payment from customer and present checks to Cashier for processing
• Patience and customer-oriented approach
• Attention to cleanliness and safety
• Excellent people skills with a friendly attitude
• Set up sanitizer buckets and check with test strip
• Set up chairs at tables
• Sanitize chairs, tables, drums, and booths
• Wipe down highchairs and boosters with sanitizer
• Make water and iced tea
• Line all trash cans with new lines
• Stock POS printer with an additional thermal paper roll
• Set up tray stands at appropriate stations
• Turn on hot water and rice warmer machines
• Restock beer and soju glasses
• Remove all table settings
• Wipe down all highchairs and boosters with sanitizer and stack chairs on tables
• Check drums for lost and found items
• Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• High School/GED or higher education preferred
• Grill experience preferred
• Basic knowledge of a wide variety of cuts (beef and pork) preferred
• Strong customer service operations skills preferred
• Superior skills in interaction with customers preferred

• The employee is occasionally required to stand; climb or balance; and stoop or kneel. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Proper lifting, pushing, and pulling techniques are required.

Paid sick leave accrues at the rate of 1 hour per 30 hours worked with a carryover cap of 72 hours.
