As a Recruiter, you are a member of the Global Recruiting Team, responsible for identifying, sourcing, and evaluating potential candidates to fill various positions within Yahoo. You will work closely with hiring managers to understand their hiring needs and collaborate with other key members of the Recruitment and People Team to ensure a smooth and efficient recruitment process.
Key Responsibilities:
Sourcing and Screening: use various sourcing methods to attract talent, including LinkedIn Recruiter, CRM, referrals, and networking, to identify potential candidates. Conduct initial candidate screenings, and coordinate interviews with hiring managers on successful candidates.
Candidate Evaluation: Assess candidates' qualifications, skills, and overall to make thoughtful recommendations to hiring managers.
Employer Branding: Contribute to the development and promotion of Yahoo to attract top talent. This includes attending recruitment events.
Talent Pipeline: Build and maintain a pool of qualified candidates for current and future job openings.
Data Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate and recruitment data in Workday (ATS).
Feedback and Communication: Provide timely feedback to candidates and hiring managers and communicate the progress of the recruitment process.
Influence: Be a thought partner throughout the recruitment process, leveraging ideas to hire the best possible candidates
Partner and Build Relationships: Partner with Recruiting peers, Recruiting Coordinators, Onboarding, New Hire Experience, HR Business Partners, Immigration and Compensation. Create strong relationships with People Team COEs and hiring teams.
Qualifications:
3+ years of recruiting experience
Ability to communicate effectively
Demonstrated ability to establish effective working relationships built on trust
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Comfortable making decisions independently
Working knowledge of an applicant tracking systems
Ability to manage a wide range of relationships with a variety of stakeholders
Working knowledge of interview techniques and applicant screening method
Experience with an applicant tracking system
