Job Description

Strategically positioned within the organization of the CIO, Advanced Analytics and Optimization (AAO) is missioned with accelerating Analytics solutions at scale across the Enterprise to rapidly capture business value. These solutions target key business metrics, such as, reducing manufacturing cost, improve capital efficiency, reduce time-to market to develop new products, improve planning, operational efficiency & logistics, and enhance customer experience.

We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Data Science intern to join our AAO team. In this role, you will be at the forefront of exploring and integrating cutting-edge Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) technologies to drive innovation and create a competitive edge for our organization.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as a subject matter expert in areas related to our Flash memory business, including system design, circuit design, and/or firmware verification

Qualifications

• Currently seeking a PhD in Electrical Engineering OR Computer Science, Machine Learning, Data Science with an academic/professional background in semiconductors, circuit design, firmware, etc. Graduation dates between December 2025-June 2026 are preferred.
• Experience in deep learning and reinforcement learning required. 
• Strong proficiency in Python programming, with experience in libraries such as Pandas, Scikit-learn, and either TensorFlow or PyTorch for deep learning frameworks.
• Background in Electrical Engineering topics such as system design, circuit design, and firmware verification.
• Experience with data cleaning and pre-processing techniques, ML algorithms and statistical modeling techniques
• Proficiency in SQL database queries. Familiarity with data pipelines and AWS technologies is advantageous.
• Understanding of ML Ops principles and best practices.
• Proficiency with object-oriented programming and code version control.
