Purpose
To provide department administrative and program support in the following centralized support functions and services: communications, employee engagement, project planning, financials, professional development, and business operations.
Responsibilities
- Provide Assistant Director with project management support for implementing programs and projects e.g. schedule and coordinate project meetings, create agendas, attend meetings, take notes, and compile and share meeting recaps/minutes. Also conducts research work and compiles information as necessary.
- Support Assistant Director with employee engagement initiatives e.g. meets with staff to understand issues, collect feedback/solutions, perform project research and present findings and propose solutions.
- Support Communications Specialist with communication activities e.g. organize content using EMMA, monitor content to keep public and intranet sites up to date, track and manage communication metrics, etc.
