Sr. Analyst - Revenue Management

The Gig:

This role is responsible for making and implementing micro-economic pricing and inventory decisions throughout the selling cycle to maximize revenue. This includes executing the Revenue Plan and assisting in the development of Revenue Forecasts. Other responsibilities include tracking macro-economic and industry trends, gathering competitive information, conducting analyses, and integrating large amounts of information to make actionable recommendations. Works closely with Customer Experience, Sales, Marketing, Voyage Travel Services, and other operational departments to achieve revenue goals.

This gig is based at VVHQ - our swanky Virgin Voyages Head Office in Plantation, FL where we follow a hybrid work environment. We can't wait to 'sea' you in person during our Collaboration Days, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, while you enjoy Mondays and Fridays' as remote days.

What You’ll Be Up To:

● Perform daily pricing & inventory actions

● Monitor profitability across channels, geographic regions, and promotional activities

● Develop data-driven recommendations for incremental revenue opportunities

● Build and analyze revenue reports (variance analysis) and communicate findings

● Create & provide support for Senior Leadership presentations

● Realize Revenue Plan’s pricing & promotions strategy

● Ad hoc analyses

● Other duties as assigned

SuperPowers Required:

● Bachelor’s degree (BA) from four-year college or university required with focus in quantitative discipline such as economics, engineering, or financial mathematics

● 5-7 years of experience in Travel Industry Revenue Management required, background in cruise industry preferred

● Demonstrated ability to make and implement decisions independently

● Tableau experience preferred

● Seaware experience preferred

● Experience in interactive reporting and forecasting preferred

● Ability to work fluidly with large datasets

● Outstanding verbal and written communication skills

● Ability to work well with others in an open, unstructured environment
