Description

GCI is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Senior Intelligence Operations Support to join our team. The ideal candidate is responsible for the below: 

  1. The resource shall be capable of accessing various collections of data to perform triage on documents, audio files, electronic communications, and other relevant material in order to identify information. 
  2. The resource shall be able to anticipate the needs of its consumers, while also providing education and guidance to consumers and other mission partners regarding the methods, handling procedures, and effective utilization of Human intelligence and technical collection reporting. 
  3. The resource shall apply collection management expertise against targets. 
  4. The resource shall be responsible for authoring and coordinating cable traffic and reports that are generated through exploitation activities or as directed by Collection Management Officer functions.
  5. The resource shall conduct research an apply knowledge of targets of technical collections or bulk datasets. 
  6. The resource shall develop rapport and communicate with other offices and partners.
  7. The resource shall conduct assessments to determine the effectiveness of sources and methods used for Human Intelligence and technical collection, as well as the handling procedures employed, in order to validate the accuracy and reliability of the resulting intelligence reporting. 
  8. The resource shall manage the production, sharing, and use of intelligence reports while protecting sources and methods. 
  9. The resource shall work to disseminate information from technical and bulk collections.
  10. The resource shall evaluate information for completeness, validity, relevance, quality, and sensitivity. 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Demonstrated experience in supporting Intelligence Community cyber activities, refining intelligence reporting tradecraft, participating n field operations, and ensuring the protection of sensitive sources and methods. 
  • Demonstrated experience an possess basic working knowledge of cyber and digital media exploitation techniques and trends. 
  • Demonstrated experience and possess basic working knowledge of telecommunications, virtual operations, cyber activities, and/or technical operations is required. 
  • Demonstrated experience and possess working, understanding, and measuring complex relationships and have a background in identifying intelligence from disparate technical information sources. 
  • Demonstrated experience in the guidelines and objectives for appropriate handling of digital data throughout the data lifecycle.
  • Demonstrated experience and the ability to follow leads, work with complex digital data, and thrive in an environment without clear policy guidance. 
  • Demonstrated experience with computer file structures, particularly those associated with Windows operating systems. This includes knowledge of typical locations of documents, metadata, and hidden data, as well as proficiency with directory walks, directories of fixed media, and recreated remote directories.
  • Demonstrated experience with a variety of file types including audio and video files, CAD files, database files, and XML files, as well as the software applications required to access and manipulate them. Additionally, the candidate should be knowledgeable about various text encodings and proficient in the use of encoding tolls to work with diverse file formats. 
  • Demonstrated experience of technical communications, including their applications and uses. This includes familiarity with mobile devices, Internet communications, and various forms of electronic media. Additionally, the candidate should have a basic understanding of different types of selectors, such as IP addresses, IMEI, IMSI, MAC addresses, and SSID, and be able
