Role Overview

Own the product strategy and execution for HP Z Boost—HP’s remote, GPU-accelerated workstation experience that lets creators, engineers, and AI developers access Z performance from anywhere. You’ll define the roadmap, turn customer workflows into features, and scale a category that blends workstations, virtualization, networking, and AI workloads into a seamless experience.

This position is located in Fort Collins, Colorado; or Houston, TX.

Key responsibilities for this role include:

  • Own end‑to‑end outcomes by driving cross‑functional alignment across external partners, engineering, GTM, and operations teams to ensure coordinated delivery of the Z Boost solution.

  • Define and drive the product vision, roadmap, and KPIs for Z Boost across releases

  • Translate user workflows (CAD, DCC, simulation, AI dev, CV inferencing, VDI-replacement) into prioritized features

  • Partner with engineering on performance, latency, image quality, and reliability targets

  • Work closely with ISVs, customers, and partners to validate solution interfaces and operational workflows, improving timetovalue and adoption.

  • Shape packaging, pricing, and positioning with Product Marketing for target verticals

  • Align crossfunctional teams (hardware, software, security, sales, marketing) around shared platform priorities and delivery milestones.

  • Define and track success metrics related to adoption, reliability, usability, and overall platform impact.

Experience knowledge & skills

  • 5–8+ years in product management for workstations, VDI/DaaS, edge compute, or GPU platforms

  • Strong grasp of remote graphics, virtualization, networking, and GPU scheduling

  • Familiarity with cloud and hybrid environments as they relate to on-prem compute orchestration, resource pooling, and enterprise deployment models.

  • Familiarity with AI/ML developer workflows and modern content creation stacks

  • Experience taking 0→1 products to market and scaling with data

  • Experience working with ISV ecosystems, including solution enablement, integration requirements, and Go-to-Market alignment

  • Excellent written/oral communication; can align engineering depth with exec clarity
