Job Description
We are looking for a seasoned product marketer who can bring analytical thinking, proactive planning, exceptional communication skills, and strong stakeholder management to help grow TIDAL’s rapidly growing product portfolio for artists. As an individual contributor (IC) Senior Product Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for partnering with our product management, design, engineering, and go-to-market teams to scale out our offerings to help artists understand, manage, and grow their careers. By leading deep, ongoing customer discovery and uncovering market insights, you’ll represent the customer voice in order to influence product strategy and drive GTM strategy through landing product positioning, messaging and channel strategy. You will be expected to be a leader on our PMM team, evangelizing new processes and systems to drive strong business outcomes. This role is remote friendly (U.S.). 

You Will:

  • Lead GTM strategy for artist-facing products
    • Oversee goal-setting, customer insights, market analysis, positioning, messaging and channel strategy
    • Influence product roadmap for TIDAL’s artist platform by effectively representing the Voice of the Customer. This involves collecting, analyzing and championing direct customer feedback, synthesizing industry insights, and stretching outside typical product marketing responsibilities to support product development
  • Support product development
    • Partner closely with Product Management to identify customer pain points and opportunities, brainstorm solutions, and validate them directly with artists
    • Advocate for the optimal product experience on behalf of the customer and be willing to roll up your sleeves on details like product copy and messaging
    • Lead usability testing to help iterate early product prototypes into final product requirements
  • Manage GTM campaigns and partner closely with cross functional teams
    •  Oversee and coordinate campaigns and marketing asset development across cross-functional teams (including Artist Marketing, Creative, CRM/lifecycle, and Artist & Label Relations) in line with your GTM strategy
    • Monitor and optimize product and feature launches
    • Collaborate with Marketing and Finance teams to inform marketing budget allocations based on growth opportunities and business objectives
  • Champion experimentation 
    • Test in measurable and scalable programs that can drive meaningful business impact

Qualifications

You Have: 

  • 8+ years of experience in product marketing, working on fast-growing technology products (music, creator or consumer a plus)
  • Experience working with product management, design, engineering and analytics to build and  scale new products
  • Experience running user testing studies and broader strategic research to inform product decisions 
  • Experience using data and analytics to help build top-notch GTM strategy and launch marketing campaigns
  • An eagerness to solve problems with a high bar for excellence. You can unblock yourself to achieve your goals and are always thinking creatively about your approach to problems.
  • Demonstrated success partnering closely with GTM teams to execute on campaigns (ie. marketing, creative, partnerships)
  • An ability to excel at both the strategic and tactical levels to consistently meet planned objectives 
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

Block takes a market-based approach to pay, and pay may vary depending on your location. U.S. locations are categorized into one of four zones based on a cost of labor index for that geographic area. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future.

Zone A: USD $163,300 - USD $225,000
Zone B: USD $152,200 - USD $209,200
Zone C: USD $144,000 - USD $198,000
Zone D: USD $135,800 - USD $186,700
