About this role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Talent Acquisition Coordinator to join our team for a 6-month temporary assignment. In this role, you will support the recruitment process for skilled trades professionals, such as HVAC technicians, plumbers, electricians, and other essential roles, in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. The Talent Acquisition Coordinator will play a key role in managing candidate pipelines, scheduling interviews, coordinating recruitment logistics, and ensuring a smooth hiring process from start to finish.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
Recruitment Coordination:
- Manage logistics for the full-cycle recruitment process for skilled trades positions, including HVAC technicians, plumbers, electricians, and support roles.
- Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers, ensuring a seamless and efficient interview process.
- Prepare and send candidate communications, including interview confirmations, offer letters, and other recruitment-related materials.
Candidate Screening & Interviewing Support:
- Assist in initial candidate screenings to ensure qualifications align with position requirements.
- Manage the AI Text screening process, reviewing automated candidate responses to assess suitability for the role and flagging qualified candidates for further review.
- Conduct phone screens as needed to assess general qualifications and ensure candidates meet the basic criteria for skilled trades roles.
- Prepare and maintain interview feedback documentation, ensuring timely updates for all stakeholders.
Candidate Pipeline Management:
- Maintain an active candidate pool for current and future hiring needs by leveraging networks, online platforms, and applicant tracking systems (ATS).
- Track candidate movement through the recruitment process, ensuring smooth transitions and timely communication with candidates at each stage.
Data Tracking & Reporting:
- Track and report on key recruitment metrics, including interview-to-offer ratios, time-to-fill, and candidate feedback.
- Assist in preparing regular reports for leadership, highlighting recruitment progress and identifying areas for improvement in the hiring process.

Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, or HR coordination, with a focus on high-volume hiring.
- Solid understanding of full-cycle recruitment, including candidate sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and offer management.
- Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment platforms for managing candidate pipelines.
- Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple open positions and candidates simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail, ensuring that recruitment processes run smoothly and accurately.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage candidates and stakeholders professionally and clearly.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Comfortable with using AI tools, text screening software, and ATS for streamlining recruitment processes.
- Familiarity with recruitment metrics and reporting tools to track and analyze recruitment progress.
- Demonstrated ability to handle difficult or time-sensitive situations with professionalism and efficiency.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new recruitment tools, technologies, and processes.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with skilled trades roles (e.g., HVAC technicians, electricians, plumbers) is a plus.
