Job Description

As Senior RF and EMC Designer, you represent the RF electronics and EMC competences in product development core teams to deliver multi-disciplinary innovations. You embrace the challenge to define complex electronic mixed analog / digital / RF circuits and systems and to ensure EMC performance and integration with other disciplines.

Your role:

• Ensuring the required EMC performance during the design, implementation and verification of complex RF electronics systems and the integration with other disciplines such as (embedded) Software, Mechanics and Optics

• Preparing and guiding EMC (Pre-) Compliance tests of complex electronics systems

• Applying EMC standards to complex electronic medical systems, being part of a design team

• Reviewing PCBA designs on signal integrity and power integrity

• Communication of technical progress towards customers, management and the project team

• Building a strong network within and outside the home organization and to promote departmental competences and skills

• Defining the scope of activities and translating customer wishes into clear requirements and plans

You're the right fit if:

• A master’s degree in electrical engineering or a comparable field

• 10+ years of experience in a product development environment

• Convincing experience with the development of products compliant with EMC standards

• Hands on experience with RF measurements and EMC tests

• Solid experience with complex electronic systems including RF

• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English

• A customer centric attitude combined with a problem solving and pragmatic approach and a can-do attitude.

• Networking skills and a team player spirit

• Willingness to travel

And preferably you have

• Experience with medical product development

• Experience with working in multidisciplinary teams, including multi-site (i.e. global) development
