Cloud Cybersecurity Defense Manager

Description

As commercial technology adoption accelerates within the Army and the lines between traditional service offerings blur with emerging “cloud” technologies, the Army must coordinate and partner with diverse groups to continue delivering modern services to customers. The Army must collaborate with industry, vendors, and other Government agencies and organizations to effectively meet the needs of our diverse customer base. By leveraging the service capabilities of other agencies and industry, the Army will create capacity and allow commands to focus more resources on mission requirements and less on commodity information technology capabilities.

Duties: 

· Ensures proper cloud systems configuration while assessing and mitigating any vulnerabilities of the stored data

· Oversight of the network, corporate and hosted infrastructure, and application security

· Performs information security assessments or audits of internal networks and systems

· Ability to perform log analysis, using tools such as IDS, IPS and/or other signature technologies

· Provides 1st and 2nd level troubleshooting support for security applications and systems

· Collaborates with Client technical teams for issue resolution and mitigation

· Analyzes various methods of controlling information security issues, determines the strengths and weaknesses of each method, and implements the Client’s chosen solution

This role will be performed onsite.

Requirements

 Required Experience / Qualifications (Must Have)

• Minimum 10 years of experience in Cloud Cybersecurity Defense
• CISSP certification or equivalent experience
• Foundational Cloud Certification
• ITIL v3 Foundation Certification or equivalent
• DoD 8570.01 Cyberspace Workforce Qualification and Management
• Program/8140.01, Cybersecurity Certificate Information
• US Government clearance at Top Secret/SCI Level  
• US Citizenship
• Ability to sit for extended periods of time. 
• Ability to regularly lift at least 25 pounds. 
• Ability to commute to the designated onsite work location as      required. 

Preferred Experience / Qualifications (Nice to Have)· AWS Certified Solutions Architect
