Job Title: Control Systems – PI&CS Engineering Intern (Summer 2025)

An internship is a temporary position within Solventum. Interns typically work a full-time schedule throughout a 10-12 week assignment during summer of 2025.  This position is limited to working 899 hours per service credit year.

• Providing effective control system solutions to a variety of new and existing automated process equipment
• Developing and designing the control system architecture
• Selecting hardware and providing software to run new process equipment
• Providing machine installation and commissioning
• Working in a team environment to successfully meet project milestones

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum is looking for candidates who must have the following qualification:

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher in science or engineering from an accredited institution

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher in electrical engineering or electrical engineering technology
• Prior internship/co-op experience involving a control systems engineering process or technology
• Prior experience with PLC, HMI, drive, and robot programming
• Prior experience in a manufacturing environment
