Senior Electrical & Controls Engineer (on-site, the Netherlands)

Job Description

Working as Senior Electrical & Control Engineer for this large corporate means that you are part of a larger international team besides the team on the production site.

Tasks & Responsibilities

▪ Most of your time you’ll be keeping site operational and minimizing downtime thought a well-developed preventative maintenance plan that you’ll own and execute. Our team in the UK has developed this plan, but you are their eyes and ears on the site.

▪ The remainder of the time you’ll be leading on continuous improvement initiatives. This means making incremental changes to ensure that our technology, processes and procedures are keeping us ahead of our nearest competition.

▪ You’ll be our electrical and Controls engineering expert on site and part of a hardworking and supportive site engineering and maintenance team. Which means you’ll have a real visible role onsite. You’re at the heart of things being built.

▪ You’ll be joining a company which is heavily investing in waste gas separation technology, to help the world combat global warming and climate change.

Qualifications

▪  Bachelor Degree in Electrical/Controls Engineering or other relevant qualification

▪  Experience working in operational/chemical/processing environment

▪  Solid understanding of electrical control schematics

▪  Solid understanding of P&ID drawings & Process control

▪  Industrial safety knowledge and experience

▪  Experience of managing electrical projects from concept to delivery

▪  Able to anticipate and solve problems related to projects/maintenance

▪  Good attention to detail

▪  Excellent communication skills

▪  AutoCAD drawing experience

▪  Experience of routine maintenance

▪  NEN3140 regulation certified

▪  PLC programming/troubleshooting experience

▪  Computer literate with, Word, Excel and Project

▪  Business-level English language skills, verbal and written. Any second language is welcome
