To help us achieve our goal, we are seeking a Director, DEI Data & Insights Strategy.
The position is responsible for leading the strategic analytics priorities and efforts to research and evaluate progress toward the organization's diversity and inclusion initiatives. This individual also responsible for deriving and maintaining data driven insights, both qualitative and quantitative, that support IPG’s culture strategies. This role will work across functional and operational areas, including HR, Legal and the agencies and networks across IPG. You will lead the DEI analytics community globally, providing thought leadership, industry best practices and guidance.
Join our D&I team to help lead efforts to determine the best methods to collect, visualize and report diversity data and metrics to support the development, advancement, and integration of diversity strategies across departments, center, and institute stakeholders.
This person will create the reporting frameworks, measurement mechanisms and identify tools to help build a global data ecosystem in compliance with country laws with local relevance. This would include compiling, scrubbing, and analyzing data for workforce diversity demographic reports, evaluating outcomes and progress, coordinating data collection and research analysis of metrics. Also, partnering with agency stakeholders and other IPG departments to help build a D&I data strategy centric infrastructure to identify key gap areas potentially affecting ability to remain competitive in attracting and retaining a talented and diverse workforce.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Collect and compile D&I metrics and data from a variety of sources to build dashboards/visualizations to tell a compelling and easy to understand data stories, across delivery methods (e.g., PPT, Power BI)
- Provide data analysis and research in support of EEO governance and compliance related items, including policies and procedures, federal/state/local acts
- Analyze data and statistics for trends and patterns with attention to recruitment, hiring practices, motivation, turnover, and compliance with employment laws and regulations
- Develop reports of data results, presenting and explaining findings to senior leadership
- Lead efforts to increase D&I data literacy across the organization
- Partner with internal and external stakeholders to understand business objectives, design analytic models, and provide data insights to best support data-driven business decisions helping to maximize our investment in D&I strategy
- Present methodology and conclusions of analyses to a variety of recipients including peers, management, and senior executive teams
- Deliver insight results of analyses and tell a story with the data to guide leaders in business decisions with the ability to explain details and high-level overviews depending on the audience
- Build partnerships with business leaders and with other functional analytics groups to increase awareness of available data, improve business acumen and analysis
- Collaborate on cross-functional teams to understand reporting and metrics needs, providing consultation as necessary
- Adhere to all confidentiality and HIPAA requirements as outlined within IPG’s Standard Business Practices and Procedures in all ways and at all times with respect to any aspect of the data handled or services rendered in the undertaking of the position
- Fulfill those responsibilities and/or duties that may be reasonably provided by IPG for the purpose of achieving operational and financial success of IPG
EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelors in Human Resources, Business Management or IT is required
- 7+ years of relevant experience in project management, reporting, analytics, visualization with a focus in business metrics and Human Resource/Diversity & Inclusion
- Exert level understanding of business-outcome orientation as it relates to pay equity, benefits, talent acquisition and talent management with ability to clearly, articulate and present
- Strong visualization and storyboarding skills with actionable outputs from large data inputs to help drive the future of work and employee experience
- Proven advanced analytics expertise (dashboard functional, user and unit testing) in Excel and Power BI
- Solid experience establishing strong partnership with internal stakeholders such as, HR, Legal, Corporate Commun
