Job Description

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Financial/Accounting Systems Analyst is responsible for assisting with all support functions relating to Stream’s accounting software systems including Yardi and AVIDXchange.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Set up vendors in multiple accounting systems
  • Knowledge of W9 requirements a plus
  • Knowledge of 1099 filings a plus
• Assist with clearing A/P invoices and resolving issues within the AVIDXchange exception queues.
• Run reports as requested.
• Ensure compliance with SOC I requirements for self, Accounting and Property Management teams.
• Assist the Accounting and Property Management personnel with all assigned administrative functions relating to Stream’s Yardi accounting systems including:
  • Initial set‐up of new properties
  • Assist with tenant lease corrections and tenant lease edits
  • Yardi system troubleshooting
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• 2‐5+ years relevant accounting systems experience, or hands‐on Property Accounting experience utilizing common real estate accounting software.  Strong interest in accounting systems, a plus.
• Yardi systems experience; MRI experience, a plus.
• Real estate industry experience, a plus.
• Demonstrated quantitative analytical skills.
• Intermediate to advanced competence in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
• Ability to work with a large volume of data in Excel with a high degree of accuracy.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, along with the ability to leverage communication technology while working with remote users.
• Ability to interpret and understand end‐user requests and ask questions to clarify needs.
• Self‐motivation, ability to multi‐task, and ability to thrive in a deadline‐oriented environment.
• Ability to prioritize work while utilizing a Help Desk ticketing system.
• Ability to independently solve routine problems. Present possible solutions to manager or supervisor regarding more complex issues or problems.
• Some knowledge of SQL or interest in learning SQL.
• Education requirement: Bachelor’s degree. Some Accounting classes or Accounting Information Systems classes, a plus.
