As Vice President, General Manager you'll oversee all aspects of our Motion Solutions business. You'll have full P&L responsibilities. You'll play a crucial role in shaping the Novanta's overall direction and success. You'll lead and motivate employees to achieve business goals and ensure customer satisfaction.

Primary Responsibilities

• Driving profitable near- and long-term growth of the business line.
• Managing all functions for the product line including Finance, Product, Operations, R&D, Sales, and Marketing (Sales and Finance are dotted line responsibility)
• Setting strategic goals, identifying opportunities, and driving business initiatives that deliver profitable growth.
• Developing and executing operational plans to ensure efficient and effective business operations.
• Building and maintaining good relationships with customers, partners, and stakeholders.
• Leading high-performing teams to achieve business objectives, driving a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Compensation and Benefits

• The base pay for this position is $240,000 to $300,000 per year depending on the geographic market.
• Dependent on the position offered, annual bonuses and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of the compensation package.
