Senior Java Full Stack Engineer

About your role:

At Fiserv, we are dedicated to transforming financial services technology to benefit our clients. As a Senior Java Full Stack Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality Fiserv’s state-of-the-art enterprise dispute processing systems. You will work with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that align with our business goals and client needs.

What you will do:

• Own the software development process from conception to deployment based on user requirements
• Maintain and upgrade software applications following deployment
• Oversee and guide offshore resources: analyze, write, build, and software deployment
• Produce efficient and elegant code based on requirements
• Test and deploy programs and applications
• Troubleshoot, debug, maintain and improve existing software
• Develop technical documentation to guide future software development projects

Experience you'll need to have:

• 6+ years of experience in enterprise application development using Java Full Stack technologies: Java, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Spring framework
• 5+ years of experience with JavaScript, CSS3, HTML5, XML, XSLT, JSON, third-party libraries such as jQuery, and lightweight framework Vue.js
• 5+ years of experience with database technologies, including DB2 and Oracle
• 3+ years of experience with Linux and PAAS product Docker Containers
• 3+ years of experience with AWS Cloud Platform and its ecosystem
• 3+ years of experience with Fortify, Web-Inspect and Sonatype source scanning
• 2+ years of experience in finance, banking, payments services and card processing
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, work, and/or military experience

Experience that would be great to have:

• Experience with SonarQube and Object-Relational Mapping frameworks
• Experience with document barcoding techniques
• Experience in software development for document/imaging processing or using 3rd party software like Accusoft and Kofax Ascent Capture
• Experience with transmissions technology like Sterling’s (now IBM) Connect:Direct
