Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to promote Brenau effectively, honestly, and openly
- Must be able to relate very well to prospective students of all ages, and where appropriate, to their families
- Must be self-motivated, highly organized and display ahigh level of dedication to the University and to the task of representing the University to the public
- Spanish bilingual preferred but not required
- Must provide the prospective students the highest level of customer service and support while abiding by the policies of Brenau University and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools
- Must be punctual (arrival time approved/assigned by supervisor)
- Must dress professional
- Must foster an atmosphere of positive teamwork
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Establish contact with Freshmen and Transfer inquiries and maintain contact through the admissions funnel by the use of e-mail, telephone, in-person visits and other appropriate activities while working towards achieving individual and team enrollment goals.
- Meet established weekly contact goals and document interactions in the Slate CRM.
- Manage assigned freshmen and transfer territories developing relationships with students, families and high school /technical college counselors.
- Develop strategic territory travel and outreach plans (virtual and on-ground) for the assigned geographic territory.
- Evaluate application files and make admissions decisions according to current policies and practices
- Create yield plans for accepted applicants; coordinating dialogue between the accepted applicant and the Brenau community.
- Serve as liaison to assigned academic school/college by meeting with faculty to share and gather relevant information.
- Assist with office activities including: mailings, data entry, and file maintenance as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
No supervisory responsibilities required.
Work Hours:
Full-time. 37.5 hours per week. Generally, Monday-Friday from 8:30 a.m.- 5:00 p.m. Hours may be extended to meet the needs of the department. Nights/weekends as needed.
Appointment Length:
12 months, continuous
Environmental and Working Conditions/ Physical Demands and Aptitudes:
Sedentary work. Work is performed in an office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards. Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Able to travel as needed. Must be able to operate and drive a motor vehicle. Must have the ability to travel short distances. Exerting up to 15 pounds of force to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Repetitive motion. Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers. The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading.
