As a Senior Product Manager in the Software Delivery team, you will work with a team of engineers, designers, marketers, and sales to grow and innovate on Datadog’s development-centric products and features. You will own and drive the product roadmap and vision for our IDE integrations – delivering new features and capabilities through close collaboration with our customers and integrations with our partners.

What You’ll Do: 

  • Product Strategy: Define and execute the product strategy for IDE integrations and development workflows, aligning with the overall company goals and vision.
  • Customer-Centric Approach: Gain deep insights into the needs and pain points of developers, collaborating closely with them to design intuitive and efficient solutions.
  • Feature Development: Lead cross-functional teams of engineers, designers, and marketers to deliver new features and capabilities that enhance developer productivity.
  • Integration Partnerships: Build and nurture strategic partnerships with IDE vendors and other key players in the software development ecosystem.
  • Drive Growth: Be accountable for business goals related to the product, including revenue, adoption, usage, and margin, and develop strategies to achieve these goals.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with various internal teams, including sales, marketing, and customer success, to define go-to-market strategies and optimize revenue generation.

 

Who You Are: 

  • Experienced Product Manager: You have a proven track record as a Senior Technical Product Manager with a strong background in independently defining strategy and executing development-centric products.
  • Customer-Centric: You possess a deep understanding of developer needs and challenges, demonstrating strong customer empathy and the ability to design solutions that resonate with them.
  • Technical Proficiency: You have a solid technical background and a passion for staying up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.
  • Effective Communicator: You can communicate technical topics effectively to various audiences, including executives, and have the ability to influence product development and go-to-market strategy decisions.
  • Strategic Thinker: You have a strategic mindset and can make organizational-level decisions that drive product success.
  • Collaborative: You excel in cross-functional collaboration and can lead teams to achieve common goals.

Bonus Points:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent experience
  • Previous experience with developer tools, CI/CD, software testing, cloud monitoring, or observability.
  • You’ve worked with modern cloud environments and are familiar with CI/CD products and tooling
  • Hands-on coding/software development experience
