Job Description:

Senior Business Analyst, Finance Systems will provide business analysis in the areas of FP&A, Accounting, AP/AR, Tax, Treasury, Payroll & T&E. Offer technical and functional expertise relative to non-ERP Finance systems and integrated ancillary systems. The Sr. BA, Finance Systems will be the primary Technology Services point of contact for the Finance group. 

As a member of the Business Technology Hydrafacial team, you will lead complex and cross-functional projects that support the scalability and effectiveness of the Finance business area. 

HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING: 

• You will drive the Oracle Enterprise Planning and Budgeting Cloud Services (EPBCS), Financial Consolidation & Close Cloud Services (FCCS) implementation and ongoing enhancement/support in partnership with Finance and the software vendor teams.  

• Function as the main liaison between business units, technology, and support teams.  

• Facilitate working sessions with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements. 

• Develop and implement global best practices for Finance system users, including data governance and process excellence for global standardization. 

• Use knowledge of Finance business processes and non-ERP Finance system capabilities to define optimal solutions that effectively meet the business needs with efficient use of the non-ERP systems (e.g., Blackline, Yooz, SAP Concur). 

• Create process models, specifications, diagrams, and charts to provide direction to developers. 

• Partner with the internal and 3rd party development teams to ensure defined requirements are reflected in the technical design and specification documents. 

• Collaborate with Business partners to develop test plans and detail test cases that ensure system functionality meets business requirements.  

• Educate users through hands-on training and the creation of user documentation, including training videos. 

• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.  

• Troubleshoot technical issues and identify modifications needed in existing applications to meet user requirements. 

• Develop and implement maintenance procedures, monitor systems health, gather system statistics, and troubleshoot reported errors and alarms. 

• Partner with business process owners to ensure integrity and quality of financial data across supported systems. 

• Identify and recommend areas that can be improved via systems enhancements and automation.

• The ability to provide technical expertise and recommendations in assessing software projects and initiatives to support and enhance existing and new systems. 

• Provide recommendations for possible process changes to help optimize current procedures in support of maximizing outcomes. 

• Strong project management and problem-solving skills; ability to overcome obstacles to complete projects and deliver results. 

• Manage stakeholder relationships to achieve agreed upon project milestones. 

• Ability to inspire and partner with diverse individuals at all levels of the organization in a highly cross-functional and matrixed environment. 

• You have outstanding interpersonal skills, are an analytical thinker, and great at navigating complex issues. 

• Self-starter with a passion for solving complex problems and independently identifying areas for action. 

• 5-8 years of working business analyst or consulting roles
