As a Warehouse Specialist with OMES you will enjoy:

Job Details
- Full-time 40-hour work weeks.
- Support the Capital Assets Management Department.
- Salary is up to $38,750.00 based on education and experience.
- This is an on-site position located in Oklahoma City, OK.
Position Summary
The primary purpose of this position is to process state material received from the Oklahoma City area and surrounding state agencies, and to maintain the State Surplus warehouse and grounds.
Key Responsibilities
- Unload semi-trucks, box trucks, pickups, trailers, and other vehicles with items.
- Sorts surplus items and stages items on the warehouse floor for online auction.
- Operates pallet lifts, forklifts, and hand trucks in a safe manner.
- Help customers when they come to pick up items purchased on the online auction.
- Perform general housekeeping of assigned area and vehicles assigned to state surplus to ensure that the area is safe, clean, and functional.
- Process all paperwork on items received and customer pickups.
- Process all paperwork and pictures for items on the online auction.
- Drives the box truck to agencies to pick up surplus items.
- Other duties as assigned.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
This position works in a warehouse for a large percentage of the workday. The working environment includes exposure to heat/cold and noise. The noise level in the work environment is usually mild.
Physical demands include prolonged walking, standing, and pushing/pulling 1000lbs, lifting 40lbs.
Occasional travel may be required.
Minimum Qualifications
Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent.
Preference will be given to candidates who possess

- Organizational skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Microsoft Office Skills.
