The Musco Specialty Manufacturing Team is currently seeking a Warehouse/Inventory Assistant to work from our Oskaloosa office. This position will focus on the control and distribution of manufacturing/assembly material. What you will do as a Warehouse/Inventory Assistant:
- Maintain Kanban levels as defined to ensure inventory accuracy
- Notify Purchasing when inventory levels drop to zero or below specified minimum as set on each part
- Unload and verify received parts & inventory counts and enter receipt entries Vantage software
- Fulfill material requisitions as requested by Assembly
- Coordinate movement of inventoried parts to maximize space
- Verify weekly & monthly cycle counts of inventoried parts
- Maintain first in, first out inventory procedures
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of warehouse
- Other duties as assigned
What you need to be successful:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Electric fork truck experience a plus
- Good typing and computer skills
- Basic knowledge of inventory control systems
- Technical understanding of product manufacturing
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Basic math skills
- Ability to assess what needs to be done and then implement plans to achieve required results
Work Schedule: Monday-Thursday 6:00am-4:30pm, Overtime as required
