RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Program Leadership and Oversight
    • Lead and direct customer relations, business, technical, and help desk teams.
    • Provide oversight to project managers, technical leads, and cross-functional teams to ensure all work aligns with defined scope, schedule, budget, and quality objectives.
    • Coordinate priorities and resources across multiple concurrent projects.
    • Allocate resources appropriately to ensure projects are completed within approved timelines and funding constraints.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for executive leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Program Execution and Management
    • Execute, monitor, and control project and program activities in accordance with contract requirements and organizational standards.
    • Develop and maintain program roadmaps, governance frameworks, risk registers, and communication plans.
    • Manage changes to project scope, cost, and schedule through established change control processes.
    • Identify and assess risks, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure timely issue resolution.
    • Ensure all work complies with organizational policies, federal/industry standards, and security requirements.
    • Apply best practices using Agile, waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies as appropriate.
    • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance program management maturity and operational efficiency.
  • Communication and Reporting
    • Provide routine status updates, performance metrics, and executive-level briefings to stakeholders.
    • Prepare and update project plans, schedules, and written status reports.
    • Conduct operational meetings with customers, project teams, and leadership stakeholders.
    • Facilitate working sessions to clarify requirements, resolve issues, and maintain delivery alignment.
    • Develop and present meeting materials (e.g., PowerPoint presentations, diagrams, schedules) to customers and internal leadership.
    • Produce project documentation and incorporate lessons learned into future planning efforts.
    • Participate in project performance review meetings and discussions.
  • Vendor and Contract Management
    • Manage vendor relationships, monitor contract performance, and oversee resource allocations in support of program objectives.
  • Required Program Documentation
    • Responsible for coordinating, maintaining, and delivering the following program artifacts:
      • Contractor Project Management Plan
      • Quality Management Plan
      • Quality Control Site Documents
      • Weekly Progress Report
      • Shipment/Delivery/Installation Weekly Progress Report
      • Staffing/Resource Plan
      • Site Inventory Report
      • Daily Active Site Report
      • Project Kick-off Meeting Agenda & Minutes
      • Proposed Installation Schedule
      • Site Kickoff Meeting Template, Agenda & Minutes
      • Change Management Plan
      • And any other required documentation as needed

• Additional RequirementsMust be flexible and able to work semi-shift or non-standard hours based on project and customer requirements.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 7 years of program management experience
  • Experience with Juniper software
  • Experience with technical delivery programs
  • Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Project
  • Must be autonomous, responsible, reliable, and self-motivated
  • Demonstrated experience managing projects implementing hardware/software solutions
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills required with attention to detail critical
  • Ability to interact effectively with all levels of management required and customer 
  • Successfully pass VA HIGH BI 
  • Successfully pass drug screening
