A Day in the Life...
• Implement HR Strategies that support the organization’s business goals and promotes a positive culture.
• Makes recommendations, provides advice and is a trusted advisor to team members and plant leaders alike.
• Influences network and plant decision-makers to implement programs that drive higher levels of employee performance and engagement.
• Serves as an active member of the plant leadership team and can influence and challenge others at this level.
• Work with plant leadership to translate business objectives into key capabilities and competencies to deliver strategic outcomes.
• Analyzes and leverages internal and external human capital trends, data, and insights to inform local actions and strategies.
• Ensure a strong network talent bench exists and aligns with the people and organization capability implications inherent in a transformation.
• Drive accountability with leaders to strategically plan for workforce needs including development, succession, and workforce planning, and talent needs of the future.
• Partner with the CoEs on implementation of standardized processes, including communications, policies, procedures, and handbooks; continuously seeks out opportunities for innovation and improvement to processes.
• Facilitate people processes that engages leadership in assessing and developing talent within local plant(s).
• Drives accountability to leaders in owning the key moments of the employee experience and lifecycle.
• Where union exists, negotiate union contracts, and monitor administration and compliance with collective bargaining contract; maintain effective and cordial business relationship; act as liaison between Ocean Spray and the Union. In union-free environments, maintain a union-free status in the workplace.
What We Are Looking For:
• Bachelor’s degree required with 7+ years of experience
• PHR/SPHR Certification is preferred
• Experience and proficiency with operating HRIS systems required (Workday a plus)
• Demonstrated skills using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Ability to manage people and set priorities for self and subordinates
• Influencing and decision-making abilities on the design of processes/programs/projects etc.
• Critical thinking abilities to be able to define and develop solutions to complex business problems
• Excellent listener
• Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, negotiating)
• Time management and multi-tasking skills
• Training and coaching skills
Education:
