In this critical position, you will collaborate with other financial experts to achieve our strategic objectives. Your responsibilities will include financial analysis, research, budgeting, scheduling, and forecasting to support our ambitious plans.

As the IPP&C Sr. Manager, you will be the key figure in preparing forecasts and utilizing financial and schedule modeling to provide strategic recommendations to our management team. Your insights will be instrumental in shaping our future direction and driving our success.

What You Will Do

  • Workforce Management: Oversee the workforce across onsite, hybrid, and remote setups to ensure optimal productivity and engagement.
  • Talent Development: Foster talent through collaborative assessments of current knowledge, skills, and abilities, creating actionable plans for training, personal growth, and career opportunities.
  • Individual Development Plans: Create and maintain individual development plans with quarterly reviews for each employee in your department.
  • Mentorship and Coaching: Actively mentor and coach your team through visible and engaged leadership.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Build and strengthen relationships with other functions and teams, including Contracts, IPP&C, Engineering, Operations, Controllership, and Business Development.
  • Compliance Assurance: Ensure compliance with earned value metrics according to the Collins System Description, NDIA 32 Guidelines, and statutory requirements.
  • Schedule and Health Metrics: Ensure all schedule and health metrics adhere to the Collins System Description, PASEG, and statutory requirements.
  • Audit Support: Support internal and external audits for controls and compliance adherence.
  • Financial Management: Manage Developmental Contract Financial Obligations, including the development of annual plans and quarterly forecasts for Developmental programs, encompassing Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet.
  • Leadership Communication: Communicate and report program results to leadership.
  • EVMS/Financial Tools: Develop, implement, and utilize EVMS/Financial tools and systems effectively.
  • Process Improvement: Participate in the annual review of process maps and Collins Management Initiative.
  • CORE Event Participation: Participate in or assign delegates for CORE events.
  • Bid Development: Develop and support bids and basis of estimates.

Qualifications You Must Have 

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. DoD Security Clearance

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Experience with Microsoft Office including extensive experience in Excel 
  • Experience with SAP 
  • Experience with Earned Value Cost Engines/Software 
  • Good analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills 
  • Understanding of corporate Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) 
  • Understanding of Continuous Improvement concepts 
  • Strong oral and written communication skills 
  • Proven experience presenting to large groups and leadership 
  • Capability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment 
  • Ability to gain a DOD Security clearance  
  • Ability to travel up to 10%
