About the role:
Join an exciting and evolving talent management team! The Associate Director, Strategic Talent Management role supporting Boston Scientifics Med Surg businesses will partner with HR Business partners to develop, shape, and execute talent management strategies and initiatives. This role requires an individual to operate independently using a strategic and innovative mindset to address a changing talent landscape. The position is designed for a professional who leverages specialized depth of knowledge in talent management processes and programs, successfully influences stakeholders at all levels, and appreciates the changes AI, business growth, and changing workforce demographics present.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Provide Strategic support for Med Surg businesses consisting of Endoscopy, Urology, and Neuromodulation.
- Mentor and coach TM specialists to achieve high performance and career development.
- Partner with HRLT, HRBPs, and leaders to define, create and measure development strategies.
- Anticipate changes in talent landscape to address risks and threats to high performance.
- Work independently using specialized depth of knowledge to give guidance on tools, programs, and initiatives to ensure successful implementation of:
- Org Design and development
- Change management
- Engagement and Culture
- Talent Review & Succession Planning
- High Potential and diverse talent development
- Employee Development
- Leader Effectiveness
- Continuous Performance Management
- Design and execute strategic workforce plans in partnership with TA&I.
- Engage with stakeholders within MedSurg and provide best practices to align on Talent Management trends, successful implementation of annual talent processes, and closing skill and capability talent gaps.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree plus 10 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Talent management experience and HR Business Partner experience in several areas such as: Performance Management, Org Design/Development, Change Management, Employee Engagement and Culture, Talent Review/Succession Planning, HiPo & Diverse Talent Development, Employee Development, Leader & Manager Effectiveness.
- 3 years operational workforce talent planning experience.
- Proven competence in Strategic Thinking, Innovation, Adaptability, Influence, Collaboration, Courage and Execution.
- Ability to influence and align various stakeholders to leverage scalable solutions with little customization.
- Experience working with all levels of leaders up to and including executives.
- Must be able to join meetings with global peers during various times including some outside of normal working hours.
- Must be located in the North America area and have significant onsite presence with client groups. Preferred location in Marlborough, MA.
- Travel requirements up to 25%
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in OD or other related fields.
- 3+ years direct business support experience.
- Experience with strategic workforce planning.
- 3+ years operational workforce talent planning experience.
