We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust, scalable, and secure infrastructure solutions to support our organization's operations. As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer, you will lead infrastructure projects, optimize system performance, and ensure high availability of critical services. This role requires a deep understanding of cloud technologies, networking, automation, and best practices in infrastructure management. 

What You’ll Do

Infrastructure Design & Implementation: 

• Lead the design, deployment, and management of complex infrastructure solutions. 

• Architect and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance infrastructure environments, both on-premises and in the cloud (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP). 

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure infrastructure solutions align with business needs and goals. 

System Administration & Maintenance: 

• Manage and maintain the organization’s server, storage, and networking infrastructure. 

• Perform regular system monitoring, analysis, and performance tuning to ensure optimal performance and availability. 

• Implement and manage backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions. 

Automation & Optimization: 

• Develop and implement automation scripts and tools to streamline infrastructure management tasks and reduce manual intervention. 

• Continuously evaluate and optimize existing infrastructure to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance security. 

Security & Compliance: 

• Ensure all infrastructure components adhere to industry best practices and compliance requirements. 

• Implement and maintain security controls, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems. 

• Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments. 

Team Leadership & Mentorship: 

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and other team members. 

• Lead infrastructure-related projects, ensuring timely and successful delivery. 

• Act as a point of escalation for complex infrastructure issues. 

Documentation & Reporting: 

• Maintain comprehensive documentation of infrastructure configurations, processes, and procedures. 

• Generate and present regular reports on infrastructure performance, capacity, and security. 

 

Who You Are

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in infrastructure engineering, with a focus on cloud environments and large-scale systems. 

• Proficiency in cloud platforms and services such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. 

• Strong experience with networking, including LAN/WAN, firewalls, VPNs, and load balancers. 

• Expertise in automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Python, Bash). 

• Solid understanding of security best practices and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA). 

• Experience with monitoring tools and performance optimization. 

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure. 

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. 

Skills/Experience We’re Looking For

• Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Cisco CCNA/CCNP, Microsoft Azure). 

• Expe
