Quality Assurance Verifier

Description

The Quality Assurance Verifier is responsible for making sure that products meet a set of standards. Their duties include examining shipments of inventory and raw goods, measuring the specifications of random items in each production run and provide a daily report of any findings. A verifier performs assessment, documentation, and organization tasks to support the efficiency and effectiveness of their organization’s supply chain.

Responsibilities

• Examine products to ensure that they meet excellence requirements for our customers
• Daily audit of shipping, production and inventory orders  
• Sample and inspect completed paperwork from operations
• Monitor production operations to ensure conformance to company specifications
• Direct involvement on the warehouse operations, ensure operations reflect quality standards
• Ensure products meet customer expectations based on company objectives
• Communicate the results of inspections and put forward corrective suggestions
• Write reports to document deficiencies and errors of products
• Inspecting output samples using industry-appropriate methods, such as comparing to standards
• Checking that the assembly or production line adheres to standards and procedures
• Recording inspection results by completing reports, summarizing re-works and wastes and inputting data into quality database
• Proposing improvements to the processes being audited 
• Monitoring the use of equipment to ensure it is safe and discard any that do not meet requirements.
• Collecting and compiling statistical quality data
• Determining the causes of product defects and rework 

Requirements

Qualifications

• High school diploma of GED equivalent is preferred
• Proven experience as a quality control inspector in the same industry preferred
• Proficient in computer word processing and Microsoft Office applications such as outlook
• Strong regard for quality assurance according to company standards
• Good knowledge about industry products and processes 
• Basic mathematical arithmetic
• Excellent oral and communication skills
• Excellent presentation and reporting skills
• Good team player who can work efficiently with minimal supervision
