WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

This National Account Manager will generate sales by calling on an established broadliners which includes the upper midwest and eastern half of the US. Aside from making sales calls, you will be responsible to:

 

  • Develop, maintain, and execute account plans as appropriate for assigned accounts.
  • Actively secure and report market and competitive information as it relates to the current selling of company products including, but not limited to, market share, competitive suppliers, competitive manufacturers, competitive pricing, volume, terms, delivery, and minimums.
  • Uncover new sales opportunities at all customers by recognizing the business, social, and political changes in the market and industry. Create and implement strategic sales and marketing plans designed to grow the business for each assigned customer.
  • Analyze customer needs, requests, and business problems, calculating and negotiating alternative solutions in areas of service, quality, pricing, promotions (if applicable), and representation.
  • Make specific recommendations to the company for keeping and increasing sales while maximizing revenue and profits. 
  • Develop contacts and relationships at all levels within existing customers that can be called upon for meeting, gathering information and support.
  • Document account information in a CRM system as needed and attend occasional tradeshows, meetings, and other events.

 

 HERE’S WHAT YOU BRING: 

  • A Bachelor's degree.
  • Should reside in the upper midwest or eastern half of the U.S.  
  • A minimum of 3 years of successful selling experience. 
  • Customer centric mindset. 
  • Ability to build a collaborative environment to service the customer. 
  • Abiilty to think strategically and see how parts interact within the big picture. 
  • Results oriented thinking. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in order to persuade and influence decision making of individuals, groups or work teams, and to explain technical, financial etc. issues.  
  • Proficient with CRM software tools such as Salesforce (Preferred).
