About the Role

Our client is seeking a talented graphic designer to create cover art for their upcoming single. The artist is looking for a unique and creative vision that aligns with modern, minimalist aesthetics, drawing inspiration from the visual style of labels like Erased Tapes. This project offers an opportunity for a designer to contribute to the visual identity of an emerging musical release, potentially leading to future collaborations in the music industry.

Responsibilities:

• Conceptualise and design original cover art for the single
• Create a modern and minimalist design that stands out in digital and potentially physical formats
• Collaborate closely with the musician to understand their vision and musical style
• Develop multiple concept sketches for initial review
• Refine chosen concept based on the musician's feedback
• Deliver final artwork in appropriate file formats for various digital platforms and potential physical production

Requirements

• Proven experience in graphic design, particularly in album or single cover art
• Strong portfolio demonstrating a modern and minimalist design aesthetic
• Familiarity with the visual style of labels like Erased Tapes and contemporary album art trends
• Proficiency in industry-standard design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite)
• Ability to work independently and remotely
• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with the musician
