The Director, Benefits & ACA will act as the expert and first point of contact for ERPS clients subscribed to ERPS offered health plans, in line with the Affordable Care Act (ACA). In this client facing role, the Director will handle all things ACA when it comes to our clients. Not only will they work with our clients to fulfill their compliance needs, they will also form and implement a strategy to ensure that we have market competitive benefits packages to offer our clients.
This role will also ensure that we have all the tools in place to evaluate ACA eligibility analyses and obtain reporting details support to our existing clients and potential clients. Work closely with the sales team, and potential and existing clients to provide advice and counsel regarding all ACA related topics.
Job Responsibilities:
- Act as the main point of contact for all potential sales for the department for both new and existing clients
- Complete initial department set up, policies and procedures, and client communication related to benefits enrollment, ACA management and all benefits compliance related questions.
- Manage ACA software, ensuring that all client reports and dashboards are showing accurate information
- Provide client support on ACA related issues/questions
- Assist clients with information gathering for annual filings, measurement periods, eligibility determinations, compliance testing, government filings, and anything else as necessary in relation to ACA management
- Accumulate, track and analyze weekly workforce data to ensure compliance with ACA
- Send weekly, monthly or annual reports to clients for review and revision as needed of the different measurement period reports
- Act as the benefits administrator on the maintenance and tracking of all legally required documentation in accordance with IRS/DOL requirements, including benefits offers and record keeping guidance
- Other projects as assigned by management

*Pursuant to California's Pay Transparency Law the pay range for this position is $100,000-115,000 per year; base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
Requirements
- 8+ years of progressive benefits management and administration experience
- Strong preference for candidates with experience working in Entertainment Payroll
- Expert working knowledge of the ACA and itβs applications
- A PHR or SHRM-CP strongly preferred
- Ability to work in a high volume, fast-paced casual environment is essential
- Excellent client service skills both internally and with external clients
