Job Description

Our Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) portfolio is a powerhouse collection of consumer-first brands, supported by media industry leaders, Comcast, NBCUniversal and Sky. The Director, Platform Partnerships will report to the SVP, Platform Partnerships and will serve as the key strategic arm of the Platform Partnerships team. The role, which will primarily be project-based, will contribute to Peacock's strategic partnership initiatives by managing special projects that includes working cross-functionally across stakeholders, collecting relevant analysis from internal Peacock/NBCUniversal teams (e.g., Partnership Insights, Revenue Growth & Monetization Strategy, etc.), developing strategic recommendations and action plans with clear rationale and impacts, and creating materials to effectively communicate project context, takeaways and relevant data. The Director will further evaluate the Platform Partnerships team's strategic direction by conducting industry research and analysis, closely monitoring ongoing developments in the media landscape, and presenting relevant analyses and insights with actionable recommendations on a regular basis.

Responsibilities

  • Manage internal materials and presentations for the broader partnerships & strategic development organization on the current state of the business, partnerships data and OKR performance, upcoming initiatives, media industry reports, and partnership trends
  • Develop and create compelling presentations (e.g., Peacock’s QBRs and other key partner meetings) for external stakeholders
  • Drive strategic assessments (including market & competitive analysis) and deliver critical analysis and recommendations for prospective platform and device partnership opportunities 
  • Serve as centralized information source on partnership updates; communicate deal updates & performance implications to Peacock business forecasting & finance teams
  • Develop and maintain subscriber and financial scenario analysis for platform/device deals in collaboration with Peacock Decision Sciences and Finance groups and Content Distribution
  • Engage in partner-facing and partner management functions across all platform partners as necessary

Salary Range: $140,000 - 170,000

Qualifications

  • Must possess a passion for media and strong intellectual curiosity  
  • A minimum of 6 years previous relevant work experience; this could include professional services (e.g., consulting, investment banking) or media experience at a large network/agency 
  • Proven quantitative analytical abilities, including Excel modeling skills  
  • Strong PowerPoint skills and proven proficiency summarizing information/analyses into coherent and concise slides 
  • Strong execution, project management and collaboration skills 
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills; the ability to present results of complex analyses clearly; strong executive presence 
  • Excellent organizational, time and people management skills and the ability to work in groups and independently  
  • Exceptional relationship management skills 
  • BA/BS and MBA
