Business Systems Analyst

Responsibilities

• Work with key stakeholders within all business functions to align technology solutions with business strategies
• Gather requirements from business units and translate those to programmers and developers
• Prepare cost-benefit and return-on-investment analyses to aid in decisions on system implementation
• Demonstrate an informed knowledge of business functions to resolve problems and capitalize on improvement opportunities
• Support one or more highly complex business processes
• Work on multiple projects as a project team member
• Serve as a liaison between the business community and the IT organization in order to provide technical solutions to meet user needs

Qualifications

• Should have bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required. MBA or other related advanced degree preferred.
• Must have minimum 5-7 years’ experience with stakeholder management
• Must have minimum 5-7 years’ experience with project management or task management skills.
• Should have basic knowledge of programming languages to comprehend reading code and basic functions
• Must have ability to create business solutions that increase competitive advantage
• Must have ability to exercise good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions
• Should have project management skills in order to handle diverse projects, often times simultaneously, and meet aggressive deadlines
• Should have ability to solve technical problems/ processes and understand complex details
• Should have ability to increase operating efficiency with produce high quality technical solutions
• Must have high level of interpersonal and verbal communication skills necessary to relate to other people at their systems knowledge level
• Must have bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required. MBA or other related advanced degree preferred
• Should have ability to analyze complex situations and problems and do the necessary research using multiple sources of information to arrive at innovative solutions

• A competitive pay range of $53/hr- $56/hr (depending on experience).
• Location: remote (USA)
• 15 days per year of Paid Time Off (PTO).
• 8 paid holidays per year+ 1 personal floating holiday.
• 401(k) retirement plan with company match.
