Technical Project Lead

Prudent Technology is seeking a US Citizen Technical Lead to support major technical tasks and critical impact on overall project implementation. You will have the opportunity to work with a talented team designing and developing mission-critical DevSecOps program at our firm. We have an exciting and challenging project for new federal government GSA PBS program to develop program solutions to support multiple applications.
Salary - $160 -175 K

Job Responsibilities:
- This role provides technical and management leadership on significant tasks or technology assignments, setting goals and devising plans that align with project objectives. The individual possesses domain expertise and advanced technical knowledge in areas such as J2EE Java, ETL, cloud migration (including AWS and Azure), and Microservices.
- The role involves directing and overseeing activities for the client, ensuring that all financial management, methods, and staffing are optimized to meet technical requirements. This includes engaging in negotiations with clients and interactions with senior management.
- The individual will develop and maintain roadmaps, as well as an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), which will incorporate the schedules of project teams. The IMS will detail dependencies, efforts required, durations, and allocate resources where necessary.
- They will offer advice and expertise to enhance the process and practice of managing the IMS. This includes developing an IMS that covers the entire period of contract awards and software renewals.
- Additionally, the role provides communication and outreach support to stakeholders within PBS-ITS. It also involves providing analysis, integration, planning, and facilitation support to Product Owners and Portfolio Managers.
- Lastly, the role supports the development and management of dashboards in Agile Lifecycle Management System (ALMS) tools such as JIRA, Agile Craft, and helpdesk tools like ServiceNow.
Education/Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree, Masters preferred
- 10+ years of Java software development experience
- 5+ years or more Team Lead experience
- Experience with resolving trouble tickets and responding to service incidents
- Significant experience developing and executing work breakdown structures and Integrated Master Schedules
- Experience providing live chat support to resolve incidents in real-time support development and management dashboards in Agile Lifecycle Management System (ALMS) tools such as JIRA, Agile Craft, and helpdesk tools like ServiceNow, etc.
- Technical Lead experience at Federal project with knowledge and understanding of the GSA, DHS or USPTO
- DevSecOps experience refactoring legacy code with microservices on OpenShift platform.
Clearance:
- Current DHS Suitability or HSPD12 or be eligible to obtain HSPD12 Suitability.
