About the role

Description

The Director of Affiliates Network will play a crucial role in implementing operational objectives, developing strategic goals, and managing multiple Impact managed IPAs. This position requires a leader who can effectively collaborate with physicians, motivate clinicians, and drive performance improvements across our network.



Requirements

Strategic Planning and Implementation:

  • Develop and implement major goals and strategic objectives for the affiliates network
  • Create and execute implementation plans to support these objectives
  • Align network operations with overall organizational strategy

IPA Management:

  • Lead and oversee multiple Impact managed Independent Physician Associations (IPAs)
  • Ensure participating physician practices perceive value for their membership dues
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with affiliated practices

ACO Leadership:

  • Lead and operationalize the Medicare Shared Savings Program (MSSP) Physicians First ACO
  • Drive initiatives to improve clinical performance, enhance quality of care, and reduce utilization
  • Strive to maximize incentive funds and shared savings for participating clinicians

Performance Improvement:

  • Collaborate with clinicians to improve clinical performance metrics
  • Implement strategies to provide high-quality care while optimizing resource utilization
  • Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for the network

Physician Engagement:

  • Motivate and engage clinicians to actively participate in quality improvement initiatives
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration between affiliated practices
  • Organize and lead regular meetings and educational sessions for network members

Financial Management:

  • Oversee financial performance of the affiliates network
  • Develop and manage budgets for network operations and initiatives
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue enhancement

Compliance and Reporting:

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations and standards
  • Prepare and present regular reports on network performance to senior leadership
  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in primary care and value-based care models

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in healthcare management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
  • Proven track record of successfully managing physician networks, IPAs, or ACOs
  • Strong understanding of value-based care models and population health management
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Experience with healthcare data analytics and performance improvement methodologies
